Iraq: 34 fatalities and more than 1000 new Covid-19 cases today

The Iraqi Ministry of Health and Environment registered, today, 34 fatalities and more than 1000 new Covid-19 cases in the past day; which is among the highest records since the beginning of of the outbreak in Iraq.

In a statement received AlghdeerTv, the ministry said that 7835 tests were performed today, raising the total number of performed tests since the beginning of the outbreak in the country to 330526.

The newly diagnosed cases (1146) are distributed as follows:

Baghdad / Al-Rusafa: 219, Baghdad / Al-Karkh: 149, Medical City: 114, Najaf: 101, Basra: 62, Al-Sulaymaniyah: 113, Erbil: 60, Duhok: 2, Karbala: 24, Wasit: 37, Kirkuk: 17, Diyala: 14, Babel: 73, Maysan: 34, Dhi Qar: 99, Al-Muthanna: 7, Saladin: 11, Al-Anbar: 6, Nineveh: 4.
