The semi-official Syrian newspaper, Al-Watan, published the first scenes of the destruction left by the Israeli strikes in the Hama countryside this morning.
The photos published by the Syrian newspaper on its official Facebook page show the great destruction caused by the raids on some installations, buildings and structures in the Al-Salamiyah District of Hama.
The Syrian newspaper did not state the name of these buildings, the location, or the total number of losses from these strikes.
At approximately 12:45 A.M. (local time) last night, the Israeli Air Force fired several missiles at the eastern countryside of Hama.
This attack by the Israeli Air Force resulted in several explosions that could be felt throughout the Hama countryside.
The Syrian Ministry of Defense announced on Wednesday that its air defenses had responded to an Israeli aggression against a number of its military sites in the Hama countryside.
In a statement posted on its website by a military source, the Syrian ministry said that “at 00:45 hours, the Israeli enemy carried out a new air aggression targeting several locations of the Syrian Army in Al-Salamiyah and al-Saburah in the Hama countryside.”
They added that “immediately after the discovery of hostile missiles, the air defense forces dealt with them and worked to pursue and target them, and to drop a large number of them before reaching their targets, as the damage was limited to the material.”
