A Security Operation to Enhance Security Of Liberated Villages North Of Muqdadiya In Diyala

A joint security force implemented a security operation to secure liberated villages northeast of Baquba, Diyala governorate center.

A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that a joint security force from the army and the popular mobilization carried out a tracking operation for the remnants of ISIS within the northern Muqdadiya sector northeast of Baquba, indicating that the operation achieved its goals in securing 5 orchards in liberated villages.

He added that the operation comes to enhance the security of the liberated villages and establish a security line to remove the threat of terrorism from them.
