An ISIS Infiltration Attempt Thwarted Near A Liberated Area In Diyala

The Popular Mobilization Forces foiled an infiltration attempt by ISIS near a liberated district of Diyala Governorate.

The war media official, Ali Al-Oqabi, said today that “a force from the 110th Brigade in the Popular Mobilization managed to thwart an infiltration attempt by ISIS operatives near al-Asakra village, north of Al-Saadiya district, northeast of Baquba, after confronting the terrorists who fled towards the valleys and orchards.

He pointed out that “the forces launched a sweep campaign in the vicinity of al-Asakra village and strengthened security points in anticipation of any emergency.
