A security source said on Monday, that Iraqi soldiers were wounded in two separate attacks in south of the city of Mosul, the center of Nineveh Governorate.
The source said, that “the first attack happened by an unknown gunmen opened fire this morning at a military checkpoint of the Iraqi army, near Al-Shoura district, south of Mosul.”
The source pointed out that “the second attack was an explosive device exploded this morning targeting an army patrol on its way to the site of the accident,” indicating that the two incidents “resulted in the injury of two soldiers.”
