On Wednesday, the National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, received the British Ambassador to Baghdad, Mark Bryson Richardson.
A statement by the media office of the National Security Adviser, a copy of which was received by AlghadeerTv, stated that during the meeting, bilateral relations between Iraq and the United Kingdom were reviewed, and ways to enhance them at all levels.
The meeting also touched on the outcomes of the strategic dialogue between Baghdad and Washington, and the positive results achieved from the rounds of dialogue, to achieve the interest of Iraq and its people.
The two sides exchanged views on supporting the strengthening of security and stability in Iraq, and the Iraqi elections scheduled for next October, emphasizing the importance of creating all appropriate conditions for the success of the elections as a national entitlement.
