North Korea calls for US drill ban as path to end war

At the United Nations this week, North Korea outlined the defensive nature of its nuclear weapons, which has been subject to US-led Security Council sanctions for more than a decade. Pyongyang also held out hope for dialogue with the US and South Korea. The remarks from North Korea follow the proposal made by South Korean President Moon Jae-in for a formal declaration to end the Korean War.
