Today, Friday, the Parliamentary Electricity and Energy Committee revealed that there is a parliamentary intention to legislate the renewable energy law.
Committee member MP Kamel Anaid Al-Ugaili said, “The procedures for shifting towards renewable energy are still weak due to red tape.”
He pointed out that “there is a tendency within the House of Representatives to approve the renewable energy law in the coming sessions,” pointing out that “the draft law is currently being discussed within the Parliamentary Electricity and Energy Committee.”
