The Supreme Religious Authority declares its solidarity with the families of the victims of the Hamdaniya fire

Today, Wednesday, the Supreme Religious Authority, Sayyed Ali al-Sistani, expressed deep sorrow and regret over the horrific fire incident that occurred in the Hamdaniya district.

A statement from his office received by Al-Ghadeer stated that “the supreme religious authority expressed deep sorrow and regret over the horrific fire incident that occurred in the Al-Hamdaniya district, resulting in hundreds of victims and injuries.”

He added, “The Supreme Authority extends its condolences to the bereaved families and expresses its solidarity with them. It asks God Almighty to bestow patience on their hearts, extend His mercy to the victims, and grant the injured a speedy recovery.” There’s no strength except in Allah Almighty”.

Yesterday, Tuesday, a fire broke out in a wedding hall in Al-Hamdaniya district, causing the death of 100 people and injuring 150 others.
