4000 Iraqi refugees return from two neighboring countries

Iraqi Ministry of Immigration and Displaced revealed on Thursday, the return of (3,905) Iraqi refugees from Syria and Turkey to the country during the current year.

“The ministry has returned (3,905) Iraqis from Syria and Turkey voluntarily within its free weekly voluntary return program,” noting that “the return trip for Iraqi refugees were from the Turkish provinces, Akda Turkish camp and al-Houl camp in Syria”. The Director-General of the Ministry’s Immigration Affairs Department, Talib Asghar Dosa said in a statement received by Alghadeer News.

Dousa added that “the return was made in coordination with the Ministry of Transport and the security forces at Ibrahim Al-Khalil port to transport the returnees from Syria and Turkey by road through buses that the ministry allocated to transport them and bring them to their areas of origin in the country.”
