Spain records new record daily death toll from Coronavirus

For the second day in a row, the death toll from the new Corona virus in Spain on Sunday rose to a record high, exceeding 6,500 people.

The Ministry of Health confirmed that the death toll from the virus in Spain during the past 24 hours increased by 838 new deaths, from 5690 to 6528.

The total number of confirmed cases in the country since yesterday increased from 72,248 to 78,797.

This came a day after 832 new deaths due to Corona in Spain within a day, what was considered a record jump in the death toll from the virus.
