Corona spread out in Britain and the Pope calls for world peace

The Pope gave his weekly sermon from the official papal library instead of St. Peter’s Square due to the closure in Italy, specifically mentioning the appeal made by Guterres at a press conference on Monday.

The Pope called on all to world peace and “to stop all forms of abhorrent hostility, to support the creation of corridors for humanitarian assistance, to encourage diplomatic efforts and to care for those who find themselves in extreme situations of weakness.”

The Coruna virus has infected more than 662,700 people worldwide and has killed 30,751 people so far.

In the context, the Corona virus is brutal in Europe, and specifically in Britain.

On Sunday, the British authorities announced 209 deaths and 2,433 new cases of coronavirus in the United Kingdom during the past 24 hours.

In a brief statement posted on its account on Twitter, the Ministry of Health confirmed that the death toll from Corona in the country has increased since yesterday from 1019 to 1228.

The Ministry pointed out that the total number of confirmed cases of corona increased since yesterday from 17089 to 19522 cases.

Britain ranks eighth in the list of countries most affected by the Coronavirus in the world in terms of the number of infections.

In Norway, the health authorities announced the registration of two new deaths from the new coronavirus, bringing the number of deaths to 22.

The Norwegian Institute of Public Health said on its website, that the new infections with the virus amounted to 257 cases, bringing the total to 4102 cases, of which 2107 cases are local infections, while 1,299 cases were recorded from abroad.
