Iraq report 6 coronavirus deaths, 153 new cases in highest record ever

Iraq reported 153 new cases of Coronavirus during the past 24 hours, the Iraqi Ministry of Health announced on Thursday.

The new casualties were distributed as:

Baghdad / Rusafa: 68 cases,
Baghdad / Al-Karkh: 24 cases,
Medical City: 21 cases,
Basra: 15 cases,
Najaf: 3 cases,
Sulaymaniyah: 3 cases,
Erbil: 8 cases,
Diyala: 9 cases,
Maysan: 1 case,
Wasit: 1 case.

The ministry indicated that 6 new death was recorded, while 45 cases have recovered, as follows:

Baghdad / Rusafa: 2 recoveries,
Baghdad / Karkh: 12 recoveries,
Basra: 13 recoveries,
Erbil: 2 recoveries,
Babylon: 1 recovery,
Dhiqar: 2 recoveries,
Muthana: 13 recoveries.

The ministry added that the total number of infections reached 3877, the total number of deaths 140, and the total number of recovery cases 2483, cases under treatment: 1254.
