Al-Kaabi said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): While we welcome the issuance of Security Council Resolution No. 2522 (2020) at its meeting on May 29, 2020, which includes the extension of the mandate of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Iraq until May 31 /  May 2021, which reflects the desire of the international community to give priority to providing advice, support and assistance to the government and people of Iraq in promoting comprehensive and political dialogue, national and community reconciliation, security and economic sector reform and planning, the provision of humanitarian assistance, and the implementation of programs to improve the country’s ability to provide effective basic civil and social services, including  It guarantees the prosperity and security of Iraq and its return to assuming its distinguished position on the regional and international levels, in a way that contributes to strengthening international peace and security. “
