Over 4,000 people have been arrested since protests erupted in the United States

The American authorities have arrested more than 4,000 people, since the outbreak of the protests over the killing of George Floyd.

According to a statistic of the US “CNN” network, the number of detainees reached 4 thousand people since May 26 until Monday morning, due to the wave of protests that swept a number of American cities.

The protests, which in some areas have turned into looting and burning of government and commercial facilities, are still continuing despite the imposition of a curfew in some areas and the deployment of more policemen and the National Guard.
