Iraqi Parliament Speaker Mohammed Al-Halbousi and the US ambassador to Baghdad Matthew Toller discussed ways to support the Iraqi government in several areas.
Al-Halbousi’s office said in a statement, “Today, Thursday, the Speaker of the House of Representatives received Matthew Toller, the American ambassador to Iraq, and the meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways to support the new Iraqi government in the security, economic, cultural and scientific fields according to mutual interests.”
For his part, Toler stressed, according to the statement, his country’s readiness to provide support to Iraq in all fields
