Iraq: 24 fatalities and 1115 new confirmed Covid-19 cases today

The Iraqi Ministry of Health and Environment declared today, Monday, the registration of 1115 new active Covid-19 cases, 386 cases of recovery and 24 fatalities during the past 24 hours.

The ministry said in a statement received by AlghdeerTV agency, that 8927 tests were performed today, raising the total number of performed tests since the beginning of the outbreak in Iraq to 311980.

The newly diagnosed cases are distributed among the Iraqi cities as follows:

The statement indicated that the cases of recovery amounted to 386 cases, distributed as follows:

Baghdad / Al-Karkh 75
Najaf 3
Basra 56
Al-Sulaymaniyah 50
Karbala 37
Diyala 1
Kirkuk 4
Maysan 3
Babel 2
Al-Diwaniyah 2
Dhi Qar 6

While 24 mortality cases were registered, as follows:

Baghdad / Al-Rusafa 9
Baghdad / Al-Karkh 2
Al-Sulaymaniyah 2
Kirkuk 1
Karbala 3
Wasit 1
Diyala 3
Basra 1
Babel 1
Dhi Qar 1

The total number of confirmed cases registered since the beginning of the outbreak reached 13481, while the total number of recoveries became 5572. The total number of Inpatients is 7539, including 75 patients admitted to ICU. The death toll is 370
