In The Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

With the beginning of the strategic dialogue between Iraq and the United States, and out of our legitimate and national responsibility in the higher interests of our country, We find it obligatory to remind the chairman and members of the Iraqi negotiating delegation who we believe are putting Iraq’s sovereignty and national interests in mind, we remind them of the parliamentary consensus that was embodied in the decision that Issued by the House of Representatives on January 5, 2020, which stressed the need for foreign forces to leave Iraq, to protect national sovereignty, and not to be lenient before these supreme national principles.

We also draw the attention of the negotiating delegation to the need to benefit from the experience of the Iraqi-American negotiations that took place in 2008, which ended with the signing of the Strategic Framework Agreement, and how the Iraqi negotiators at that time achieved a clear victory against on the basis of the withdraw American forces from Iraq.

We stress once again that the implementation of the decision of the parliamentary consensus to leave the foreign forces is a strategic goal that our dear Iraqi people aspire, who made great sacrifices in defense of their land, borders, sovereignty, dignity, security and stability.

The establishment of cooperation and friendship relations between Iraq and the countries of the world in the economic, commercial, scientific and health fields is an issue required and imposed by the highest Iraqi national interests in opening up to the world and benefiting from international experiences in the field of development, construction and development of the national economy in a manner that does not affect its sovereignty, identity, security and interests.

We are fully confident that our armed forces, with all their formations, including the army, police, anti-terror apparatus, popular mobilization, tribal mob, and peshmerga, are able to defend the sovereignty, unity, security, and stability of Iraq after having gained experience in combating terrorism and achieving decisive victory over the ISIS gang, even today they are among the best security systems In the area.

Al-Fateh Alliance will pursue and from our site the strategic dialogue between the Iraqi and American delegations and through the specialized parliamentary committees, and we will provide all the required support for the success of our negotiating team’s mission and enable it to achieve the interests of Iraq, especially in the matter of commitment to implement the House’s decision to exit foreign forces and maintain The country’s sovereignty, identity and interests, and the dignity and prestige of the Iraqi state.
