A leader of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces, Abu Mahdi Al-Karawi, accused the members of the Iraqi negotiating team of opposing the public and working to build relations with the Zionist entity.
Al-Karawi said that “PMF records its objection and reservations to the Iraqi negotiating team with the American side,” noting that “many of them do not possess the same Iraqi nationality and have more than one foreign nationality.”
He added, “The negotiators who hold more than one nationality tend to allocate to the American side, and this is very dangerous.”
Al-Karawi pointed out that “some members of the team, were ambassadors in a foreign country, and some of them hostile to the PMF (Hashd al-Sha’abi) and adopt strong relations with the Zionist entity.”
Hassan Fada’am, an MP from “Al-Hikama” bloc, confirmed on Thursday that the American military presence in Iraq has become a source of concern and inconvenience for many countries in the region, noting that the Parliament is closely monitoring the course of dialogue between the United States of America and Baghdad.
