Iraqi PMF carrying out a security operation southwest of Kirkuk

The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), Brigade 16, carried out a massive security operation to secure areas of southwest Kirkuk Governorate from ISIS terrorists.

PMF statement said: “A force of the 16th Brigade with the PMF (Hashed Al Sha’abi) in the Qaratbah sector carried out a field duty and a combing operation, which was a distance of 10 km, as well as suspicious places, buildings, and abandoned houses were searched”

“The valleys and dense terrains were handled with reeds, papyrus, and bushes with medium and light weapons, where the sector of responsibility was completely combed to ensure its safety, indicating that the goal of this process is to achieve the goals to impose security and law.”
