One person is dead following a daytime shooting in Toronto’s Corsa Italia neighborhood.
According to Toronto Police, on Friday morning at 11:40 am, they received calls reporting multiple gunshots heard in the area of St. Clair Avenue West and St. Clarens Avenue.
Police on scene confirmed the shooting and said one victim has succumbed to his injuries.
Investigators say witnesses saw 2 men fleeing in a four-door sedan, who police say may be the possible suspects involved.

St. Clair Ave West is currently closed from Lansdowne Avenue to Dufferin Street, where there is a heavy police presence.
