Iraq registered, on Tuesday, 2848 new cases and 78 fatalities of Covid-19, as well as 1878 recoveries in the past 24 hours.
The Iraqi Ministry of Health and Environment said in a statement that, tests were performed today, so the total number of tests is 589377.
The newly diagnosed cases were distributed as follows:
Baghdad / Al-Rusafa 458, Baghdad / Al-Karkh 422, Medical City 97, Najaf 194, Al-Sulaymaniyah 189, Erbil 106, Duhok 3, Karbala 80, Kirkuk 152, Diyala 91, Wasit 496, Babel 91, Basra 122, Maysan 76, Al-Diwaniyah 91, Dhi Qar 78, Al-Anbar 9, Saladin 25, Muthanna 45, and Nineveh 23 .
The statement indicated that the cases of recovery amounted to 1878 cases, distributed as follows:
Baghdad/ Al-Rusafa 306, Baghdad/ Al-Karkh 218,Medica city 8, Najaf 72, Al-Sulaymaniyah 10, Erbil 54, Kirkuk 03, Karbala 114, Diyala 90, Wasit 152, Basra 99, Maysan 211, Babel 64, Dhi Qar 95, Al-Diwaniyah 85, Al-Anbar 24, Muthanna 132, Nineveh 25, and Saladin 16.
While 78 mortality cases were registered, as follows:
Baghdad/ Al-Rusafa 9, Baghdad/ Al-Karkh 7, Medical city 3, Al-Sulaymaniyah 8, Erbil 4, Karbala 3, Kirkuk 6, Wasit 2, Basra 9, Maysan 3, Babel 1, Al-Diwaniyah 5, Dhi Qar 12, Al-Anbar 1, Nineveh 3, Muthanna 1, and Saladin 1.
Since the beginning of the outbreak, the total number of:
- Confirmed cases: 72460.
- Recoveries 41380.
- Inpatients: 28120, which 404 admitted to ICU.
- Fatalities: 2960.
