A political source announced the date of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi’s visit to Saudi Arabia and Iran.
The source said in a press statement today that the Prime Minister will receive on Sunday tomorrow in Baghdad the Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif.
He added that Al-Kadhimi will visit Saudi Arabia next Monday at the head of a delegation that includes the ministers of oil, electricity, planning and finance and will meet Muhammad bin Salman during his visit. Noting that Al-Kadhimi will discuss with Saudi officials the infrastructure projects as well as the reopening of Arar border crossing between the two countries
He explained that Al-Kadhimi and his accompanying delegation will visit Iran next Tuesday “one day after visiting Saudi Arabia,” where Al-Kadhimi will meet the Supreme Leader of the Iranian Republic, Ali Khamenei, and a number of officials.
