A medical officer in Brigade 31 of the Popular Mobilization Brigade and his associate was martyred on Sunday, while four others were injured while performing duty on Salahuddin .
Our delegate said that the official of the Department of Medicine in the 31st Brigade of the Popular Mobilization, Nasser Saber Al-Sa’di, and his assistant, Thaer Amir, required Lazeri to obtain the honor of martyrdom, today, as a result of the explosion of an explosive device that targeted their patrol while performing the duty during a security operation on Salah al-Din Island.
He added, that the explosion also wounded four fighters, Brigade 31, in the PMF.
The Popular Mobilization and the army launched earlier today, Sunday, a security operation to pursue the remnants of ISIS on Salah al-Din Island.
