Basra Operations Commander Directs “To Replace The Security Forces At Shalamcheh Border Crossing With Iran”

Basra Operations Commander, Lt. Gen. Qasim Jasim Nazzal, directed today, Tuesday, “to replace the security forces at al-Shalamcheh border crossing with Iran.”

The Operations Command had announced earlier that it would send additional reinforcements to the border outlets from its reserve units, in order to ensure high flow in commercial and freight transport. As directed by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Prime Minister, Mustafa al-Kadhimi.
