COVID-19: 2900+ new cases in Iraq today

The Iraqi Ministry of Health and Environment announced that 2963 new confirmed cases, 2085 recovery case and 68 fatalities from COVID-19 have been registered over the past 24 hours.

The ministry said in a statement received by AlghdeerTV that 18018 swabs were examined in all the specialized laboratories today, bringing the total number of tests conducted in Iraq since the outbreak to 983335.

The statement indicated that the cases of recovery amounted to 2085 cases, distributed as follows:

The total number of confirmed cases registered since the beginning of the outbreak reached 121263, while the total number of recoveries became 85546. The total number of Inpatients is 31046, including 456 patients admitted to 446. The death toll is 4671.
