NATO announced that it is seeking to hold a virtual meeting through the television circle with the relevant Iraqi authorities in August.
A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that AlghdeerTV received a copy of it, stated that, the Iraqi Ambassador in Brussels Sadiq Al-Rikabi met in his office at the embassy headquarters, Assistant Secretary General of NATO for Operations Affairs John Manza, and the meeting discussed the latest developments in relations between Iraq and NATO, and NATO’s training work in Iraq.
The ambassador pointed out “the importance of the role played by NATO to support Iraq logistically in its war against terrorism, stressing the importance of respecting the sovereignty of Iraq and the decisions of its various institutions.”
For his part, John Manza stated that, the alliance is working on preparing a periodic review of its work contexts in a way that is consistent with Iraq’s priorities, building its military capabilities, training its security forces in all its categories, and that it seeks to hold a virtual meeting via the television with the relevant Iraqi authorities in August.
