Covid-19: 2015 recoveries and 3484 news cases in Iraq today

Iraq registered, on Monday, 3484 new cases and of Covid-19, as well as about 2015 recoveries and 72 fatalities in the past 24 hours.

The Iraqi Ministry of Health and Environment said in a statement that, 13647 tests were performed today,

The newly recovery cases were distributed as follows:

Baghdad / Al-Rusafa 245, Baghdad / Al-Karkh 405, Medical City 54, Najaf 72, Al-Sulaymaniyah 42, Erbil 101, Duhok 23,  Karbala 68, Kirkuk 47, Diyala 33, Wasit 55, Babel 175, Basra 145, Maysan 82, Al-Diwaniyah 109, Dhi Qar 52, Al-Anbar 56, Saladin 15, and Nineveh 36 .

The statement indicated that the cases that are diagnosed amounted to 3484 cases, distributed as follows:

Baghdad/ Al-Rusafa 349, Baghdad/ Al-Karkh 226,Medica city 100,  Najaf 192, Al-Sulaymaniyah 198, Erbil 278, Duhok 32, Kirkuk 161, Karbala 299, Diyala 101, Wasit 117,  Basra 449, Maysan 132, Babel 142, Dhi Qar 118, Al-Diwaniyah 114, Al-Anbar 53, Muthanna 40, Nineveh 320, and Saladin 63.

While 72 mortality cases were registered, as follows:

Baghdad/ Al-Rusafa 4, Baghdad/ Al-Karkh 2, Medical city 2,  Duhok 1, Najaf 6, Al-Sulaymaniyah 3, Erbil 13, Karbala 8, Kirkuk 4,  Diyala 1, Basra 7, Wasit 3, Babel 6, Dhi Qar 1, Nineveh 3, Al-Diwaniyah 6 and Saladin 2.

Since the beginning of the outbreak, the total number of:

·       Confirmed cases: 153559.

·       Recoveries 109790 (71.5% of the cases).

·       Inpatients: 38345, which 544 admitted to ICU.

·       Fatalities: 5464.
