Health Ministry: We are studying the content and effectiveness of the new Russian vaccine to counter Corona

The Ministry of Health and Environment confirmed that it is studying, in coordination with the World Health Organization, the content and effectiveness of the new Russian vaccine to confront Corona.

The Technical Undersecretary of the Ministry, Hazem Al-Jumaili, said in a press statement that the vaccine is new, and the final information about it has not yet been completed.”

He added that the Ministry of Health is not permitted to use any vaccine, if it is not approved by the World Health Organization, as there is coordination and cooperation with it,” indicating: “The Ministry of Health is in contact with the representative of the World Health Organization to follow up the details of this issue.”
