Explosion Reportedly Hits Military Convoy of International Coalition Southern Iraq

An explosion hit a military convoy of the US-led international coalition on Wednesday near the southern Iraqi town of Batha, according to reports citing security sources.

An explosive device exploded as a convoy of logistical support for the international coalition on the highway near the Al Batha west of Nasiriyah”, Alghadeer quoted the security media cell.

According to the report, the bombing targeted a convoy logistical support of the coalition. There were no injuries reported, but one of the vehicles from the column was combusted.

Security forces reportedly cordoned off the scene and opened an investigation into the incident.
