Covid-19: more than 180 thousand cases in Iraq

Iraq registered, on Monday, more than 3000 new cases and of Covid-19, as well as 3571 recoveries and 94 fatalities in the past 24 hours.

The Iraqi Ministry of Health and Environment said in a statement that, 21403 tests were performed today,

The newly recovery cases were distributed as follows:

Baghdad / Al-Rusafa 291, Baghdad / Al-Karkh 453, Medical City 81, Najaf 233, Al-Sulaymaniyah 912, Erbil 116,  Karbala 241, Kirkuk 155, Diyala 54, Wasit 31, Babel 182, Basra 302, Maysan 87, Al-Diwaniyah 96, Dhi Qar 95, Al-Anbar 48, and Nineveh 174 and Saladin 20 .

The statement indicated that the cases that are diagnosed amounted to 3202 cases, distributed as follows:

Baghdad/ Al-Rusafa 383, Baghdad/ Al-Karkh 130,Medica city 71,  Najaf 174, Al-Sulaymaniyah 134, Erbil 213, Duhok 116, Kirkuk 106, Karbala 243, Diyala 137, Wasit 207,  Basra 228, Maysan 142, Babel 319, Dhi Qar 133, Al-Diwaniyah 56, Al-Anbar 136, Muthanna 127, Nineveh 74, and Saladin 73.

While 94 mortality cases were registered, as follows:

Baghdad/ Al-Rusafa 4, Baghdad/ Al-Karkh 3, Medical city 2, Al-Sulaymaniyah 9, Erbil 10, Duhok 5, Karbala 9, Kirkuk 11,  Diyala 1, Basra 9, Maysan 2, Wasit 3, Babel 11, Dhi Qar 2, Nineveh 6, Al-Diwaniyah 2, Muthanna 2 and Saladin 3.

Since the beginning of the outbreak, the total number of:

·       Confirmed cases: 18013.

·       Recoveries 128945 (71.6% of the cases).

·       Inpatients: 45234, which 605 admitted to ICU.

·       Fatalities: 5954.

·       Tests: 1304331
