Iraq recorded 4,023 new cases of the novel coronavirus in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases to 1,146,948.
In a statement, the Iraqi Ministry of Health stated that 34 new deaths were recorded, bringing the total number of deaths to 16,029.
Meanwhile, 6,198 new recoveries were reported, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,056,885.
