Iraq registered, on Wednesday 4609 new cases of Covid-19 to take its total to 1,151,577, the health ministry said.
It reported 40 fatalities to take its coronavirus death toll to 16,069.
It also reported 5090 recoveries, its total reached 1,061,975.
The COVID-19 intensive care patients count to 457.
So far, about 502,720 people in Iraq are fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
