5235 new cases and 4776 recoveries of COVID-19 in Iraq

Iraq registered, on Monday 5235 new cases of Covid-19 to take its total to 1,292,700, the health ministry said.

It reported 25 deaths to take its coronavirus death toll to 16,910.

It also reported 4776 recoveries to take its total to 1,204,879 (93.2%).

The COVID-19 intensive care patients count to 539.

Baghdad/Karkh recorded the highest number of infections (921).

So far, the ministry of health and environment conducted 11,315,464 tests in all governorates.

781,851 people have vaccinated so far.
