Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said on Monday that his country will remain a reliable guarantor of food security for Iraq.
Kuleba made the remarks during a meeting with Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum, where he also revealed Ukrainian entrepreneurs will visit Iraq in the near future.
The MFA press service pointed out that the two ministers shed light on the development of trade, especially the increase in the volume of Ukrainian agricultural exports to Iraq.
On Kuleba’s initiative, a delegation of Ukrainian entrepreneurs will pay an official visit to Iraq to look for new trade opportunities between Baghdad that Kyiv.
Moreover, the Ukrainian top diplomat expressed support for Iraq’s efforts in the fight against terrorism, highlighting the issues of protecting the rights of Ukrainian citizens on the territory of Iraq.
