The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) authority announced, Thursday, the thwarting of a major terrorist attempt in Baghdad.
The commission said in a statement received by Alghadeer news, that “the intelligence and information directorate in the Popular Mobilization forces managed to thwart a terrorist attempt in the capital, Baghdad.”
The Authority explained that ” PMF overthrew a terrorism network after follow-up a senior leader in the remnants of ISIS terrorist gangs moving between the capital, Baghdad, Nineveh Governorate, and Turkey.”
The statement added, “The terrorist was wandering in Baghdad under false identities to carry out terrorist acts.”
