Iraqi forces launch military operation to pursue ISIS sleeper cells southwest Mosul

Nineveh Operations Command launched on Monday a military operation to pursue sleeper cells in the areas of Al-Sabuniya and Al-Tiniya, southwest of Mosul.

A statement issued by the Command, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that the security forces conducted a military operation to pursue the sleeper cells this morning in Al-Sabuniyah and Al-Tiniyah areas, southwest of Mosul, on the heels of the terrorist attacks on the electric power transmission lines.

The forces of the 92nd Iraqi Army Brigade, the 21st and 33rd Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) participated in the operation to arrest the terrorists, according to the existing database.
