Iraqi security forces managed to capture one more member of the Islamic State (IS) in the province of Kirkuk, a statement confirmed.
The Iraqi Security Media Cell explained in a statement that the insurgent used to be “the official of the ISIS media platform,” noting that he was captured after he attempted to enter the al-Heet district in Anbar.
The terrorist was captured in an ambush set for him in Kirkuk.
The Islamic State is still considered a serious threat to the security forces and civilians in various areas of Iraq, nearly four years after it was announced as “fully defeated” by the country.
