Today, Saturday, under the patronage of the Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, a meeting of the National Forces was held in the government palace, in the presence of the Speaker of Parliament, Mr. Muhammad Al-Halbousi, and the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Mr. Faiq Zaidan, the Electoral Commission, and the United Nations Mission in Iraq.

The commission offered a detailed explanation of its technical preparations and ability to hold the elections on the scheduled date on the tenth of next October.

The Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, affirmed the government’s adherence to the scheduled date for holding the elections, and its ability to provide the appropriate atmosphere for holding them with high flow.

The national political forces have unanimously agreed to hold the elections on their scheduled date, on the tenth of next October, and adhere to this date.

Al-Kadhimi and the political forces renewed the call for the political blocs to boycott the elections; To reverse its decision, as Mr. Al-Kazemi suggested the formation of a committee of the national political forces to dialogue with the boycott blocs, and persuade them to reverse its decision; In order to unify efforts during the next stage.
