On Saturday, a joint force of the Popular Mobilization Forces and the 73rd Army Brigade carried out a joint security operation east of Tal Afar district, Nineveh Governorate.
The operation included inspecting and securing villages: the village of Bakhour and the mountains of Qaberli village and Zambar, all the way to the village of Al-Khan and the mountains of Sheikh Ibrahim.
The operation came with the aim of tracking down the remnants of the terrorist “ISIS” and thwarting any attempt by them to find a foothold in those areas
