The National Security Adviser, Qassim Al-Araji, confirmed on Wednesday, that the government supports Iraqi military industrialization.

During the meeting, both discussed the participation of South Korean companies in Counter-Terrorism, Special Operations and Cyber Security Exhibition, which was held in Baghdad recently.
“The government supports the Iraqi military industrialization, to strengthen and support the military and security system, by keeping pace with the latest developments in the world in this field as there is a need to start lines of communication with South Korean companies, to benefit from the Korean military industry,” indicated Al-Araji.
He stressed that “Iraq is keen to benefit from international expertise, to develop its military expertise,” noting that “when Iraq develops its military and security system, the goal is to counter-terrorism and secure its cities, not to attack anyone,”
