Al-Amiri: Our hope is great for Iraqis to choose efficient and honest candidates

The leader of the Al-Fatah Alliance, Hadi al-Amiri, accused on Saturday political parties of using political money to buy voters for the legislative elections.

Al-Amiri said, “the (religious) authority has drawn a clear map for the elections, and there is no talk after the reference’s words,” calling for the necessity of “responsible and accurate” participation in the elections.

“Unfortunately, today, political money is used in many areas, and in Kirkuk in particular, to buy people,” he added.

Al-Amiri said, “We in Al-Fateh have honest and efficient candidates who are keen on Iraq’s sovereignty, prosperity, and the dignity of Iraqis.”

He added, “Our hope is great for the Iraqi people to choose efficient and honest candidates.”

He explained that elections are the safest way to cross Iraq to safety or the return of dictatorship and political obstruction and that we have no other way than elections, and we warn against going into the unknown and the dark tunnel.

In his speech, he added that one of the priorities of the Al-Fateh Alliance is the development and building of the country, and we will cross Iraq to safety. With a solid will, firm belief, faith, and steadfastness, victory over terrorism will be achieved with the fatwa of the reference.
