Al-Fateh: Misrepresentation of the election results could lead the country to an abyss

On Thursday, a member of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Fares Al-Budairi, stressed the need to move towards the counting and sorting of votes manually in order to know the truth.

Pointing out that changing the poll results more than once confirms the existence of voter fraud, which raises the alarm and may lead the country to the abyss.

Al-Budairi said, in a statement followed by Al-GhadeerTV, that “what happened from the announcement of the election results, is a systematic process to exclude large blocs from the political process through a game behind which countries, blocs and certain parties stand to keep the sacrificing parties to Iraq.”

He added that “the Electoral Commission failed its promises and credibility because it announced preliminary figures on the results of the poll, and then changed the results, and therefore there is a systematic process to keep the big people away from addressing the political process.”

Al-Budairi explained, “What happened raises the alarm and Iraq may slip into the abyss, so we stress the need to conduct manual counting and sorting of all ballot boxes in order to know the truth about the election results.”
