Iraq issues a death sentence against eight terrorists of al-Qaeda

A security source said on Tuesday that the criminal court in Dhi Qar Governorate had issued a death sentence against eight members of al-Qaeda.

The source told Shafaq News Agency, “based on Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law, the criminal court issued a death sentence against these eight terrorists who launched an armed attack on a security checkpoint in the vicinity of the capital, Baghdad, causing deaths and multiple injuries”.
