The National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, received in his office today, Sunday, the Australian Ambassador in Baghdad, Paula Ganly.
The Chancellery said in a statement: “Al-Araji discussed with the Australian ambassador in Baghdad the latest developments in the political and security situation in the region and the world, and the strengthening of relations between the two countries and joint cooperation in combating terrorism.”
The two sides also discussed the file of the escape of ISIS prisoners from Al-Hasakah prison in Syria, the file of Al-Hol border camp and its returnees, in addition to reviewing the developments of the Russian-Ukrainian war, and its repercussions on the region and the world.
