This morning, Wednesday (20 July 2022), the Al-Ghadir International Media Festival kicked off in its 13th edition on the grounds of the Baghdad International Fair.
The Organizing Committee of the Al-Ghadeer International Media Festival in its thirteenth edition announced the launch of the festival’s activities from the grounds of the Baghdad International Fair, in the presence of important Iraqi official figures.
The activities of the Al-Ghadeer International Media Festival will be held on the grounds of the Baghdad International Fair for the period from 20/7 to 22/7 with the participation of more than 183 media institutions that will participate in the festival, including 113 institutions from outside Iraq and 70 institutions from inside Iraq, as well as the attendance of 300 artistic and media personalities from 15 countries. Festival activities include:
1_ Participation of 480 television works to compete for the award for the best television work
2_ Participation of 180 radio works to compete for the award for the best radio work
3_ Participation of 51 news agencies to compete for the best news site award
4_ Participation of 13 newspapers to compete for the best newspaper award
5_ Participation of 15 works within animation to compete for the award for best animation
The list of participating countries includes Syria, Lebanon, Oman, Tunisia, Yemen, Bahrain, Palestine, Libya, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan, Qatar, UAE and Algeria, while foreign countries are represented by Iran, Turkey, Russia, Afghanistan, France, Bulgaria, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
