The United Nations in Iraq calls for calm

Today, Saturday, the United Nations Mission in Iraq, “UNAMI”, called for calm.

In a tweet, UNAMI said, “The ongoing escalation is extremely worrying. Voices of reason and wisdom are essential to prevent further violence.”

“All actors are encouraged to calm down in the interest of all Iraqis,” she added.
