Iraq | IED explosion targets a convoy of US coalition in Saladin

A blast from a roadside bomb reportedly hit a convoy of the US-led Coalition in mid-Iraq earlier today, Sunday.

A security source said that the explosion targeted a supply convoy of the Coalition in the governorate of Saladin.

The attack resulted in no material damage, and the convoy resumed its march toward its destination.

An armed faction calling itself the “Revenge of (Abu Mahdi) al-Muhandis” brigade claimed responsibility for the attack.
