The British Ambassador in Baghdad, Mark Bryson Richardson, affirmed today, Monday, the United Kingdom’s support for Iraq and the government of Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, expressing his country’s readiness for full and comprehensive cooperation.
The National Security Adviser said, in a statement received by Al-Ghadeer, that “the National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, received in his office today, Monday, the British Ambassador in Baghdad, Mark Bryson Richardson.”
The statement added, “The meeting witnessed a review of the latest developments in the political and security situation in the region, and ways to strengthen relations between Iraq and the United Kingdom were discussed.”
The two sides discussed “the file of the Syrian al-Hol camp and the importance of the international community’s cooperation to end this file, as well as the continued support of the international coalition to Iraq in fighting terrorism and benefiting from information and air support in this field.”
The British ambassador affirmed, “The United Kingdom’s support for Iraq and the Sudanese government, expressing his country’s readiness for full and comprehensive cooperation.”
