The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani, met today, Wednesday, in Kuwait, Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, in the presence of the Kuwaiti Prime Minister, Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of consolidating them, within the framework of the historical ties that bind them, and an emphasis on sustaining mutual cooperation at various levels, as well as continuing discussions and joint coordination on various issues, in a way that enhances the stability of the two countries and the prosperity of their peoples.
The Prime Minister affirmed Iraq’s keenness to build balanced relations with its neighbors, based on mutual respect, preserving the sovereignty of the two countries, and striving to resolve many files in accordance with what supports common interests and achieves stability in the region.
For his part, Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah welcomed the official visit to Al-Sudani, stressing the strength of the distinguished relations that bind the two countries and bring together their peoples, and Kuwait’s keenness to support the stability and prosperity of Iraq, and he also valued Iraq’s pivotal role in the region, and its endeavor to enhance sustainable security in it.
